Working an established client in the financial services industry, we are searching for an experienced AWS DevOps Engineer to join an initial 6 month basis.
You'll play a critical role in optimizing, automating, and securing our AWS cloud infrastructure, while supporting development teams to improve delivery cycles and product quality.

Key Responsibilities:
- Design and implement CI/CD pipelines and deployment automation on AWS.
- Optimize the performance, availability, and security of AWS-hosted applications.
- Manage AWS services (e.g., EC2, S3, RDS, Lambda) to meet project needs.
- Collaborate with development teams to enhance workflows and system reliability.
- Monitor, secure, and ensure compliance of AWS environments.
Skills & Experience:
- Proven expertise as a DevOps Engineer with significant AWS experience.
- Proficiency in scripting (Python, Bash, AWS CLI).
- Hands-on experience with AWS tools (CloudFormation, CodePipeline) and CI/CD tools (Jenkins, Docker).
- Solid understanding of Linux systems and Git.
- Knowledge of AWS security practices and compliance frameworks.
- Experience with Pandas, Oracle and SQL is a bonus
- Banking/Financial Services industry background is a plus
