A leading DevOps company is seeking a Field Marketing Specialist to join its German team.
As a Field Marketing Manager, you will:
- Develop and implement high-impact marketing initiatives to create new business opportunities and expand existing customer relationships.
- Create and execute comprehensive field marketing and demand generation plans to generate quality leads, aligned with overall marketing strategies and business objectives, primarily in Germany and potentially in additional tier 2 countries.
- Collaborate closely with the sales team to understand market trends, and customer challenges, and tailor marketing efforts accordingly.
- Initiate, lead, and manage regional marketing events such as trade shows, roundtables, and seminars (both physical and virtual) to ensure smooth execution and maximum attendance, followed by effective demand generation and pipeline acceleration activities.
- Localize marketing collateral, including brochures, presentations, and promotional materials, to suit regional needs in coordination with the marketing team.
- Conduct market research and analysis to identify marketing opportunities, customer preferences, needs, and competitor activities.
- Efficiently manage budgets and resources to maximize ROI on marketing activities.
- Build strong relationships with stakeholders, including third-party vendors, partners, and internal peers in marketing and other departments, to achieve best-in-class activities and results.
- Monitor and analyze campaign performance metrics, providing regular reports and recommendations for optimization.
- Stay updated on industry trends, best practices, and innovative marketing techniques to enhance the company's competitive edge.
To be successful as a Field Marketing Manager, you need:
- A Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business Administration, or a related field.
- At least 7 years of experience in field marketing or related roles, with a focus on creating and executing activities that drive pipeline and expansion in B2B environments, preferably within the Security or DevOps industry.
- Experience collaborating with SDR/BDRs and sales teams to coordinate and deliver effective offers and campaigns throughout the buyer's journey.
- Strong multitasking abilities and a knack for thriving in a fast-paced, demanding environment.
- A self-motivated, reliable individual with a hands-on approach and the ability to work independently.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Proficiency in marketing analytics tools (e.g., Tableau, Looker), marketing management tools (e.g., Monday, ClickUp, Wrike), CRM software (e.g., Salesforce), and marketing automation (e.g., Marketo, HubSpot, Eloqua).
- Fluency in German and English; proficiency in additional languages like French is a significant plus.
- Ability to travel within EMEA and occasionally internationally as required.
- Experience in channel marketing and developing strategies to drive partner engagement is highly advantageous.
