Job: Information Technology Systems Engineer
Overview: The IT Systems Engineer is responsible for the deployment, management, and maintenance of the company's network and system infrastructure. This position requires a proactive approach to troubleshooting and user support, ensuring that all hardware and software operate efficiently according to service level agreements (SLAs). The role is crucial in maintaining the high availability and optimal performance of IT infrastructure, contributing to maximum productivity across the organization.
This position also provides technical support for employees and workstations integral to the Manufacturing process within the facility.
Key Responsibilities:
- Administer, monitor, and support critical software applications to ensure high performance and availability, escalating issues as needed.
- Install and maintain workstations, ensuring users have the necessary tools.
- Maintain and support the IT data network to ensure continuous connectivity to critical systems.
- Perform administrative tasks related to LAN, WAN, and VPN.
- Participate in and/or lead IT infrastructure projects to enhance the efficiency and effectiveness of the IT environment.
- Develop and deliver training and documentation for users, IT staff, and external partners to facilitate knowledge sharing and skill development within the organization.
- Provide technical advice and solutions for complex issues.
- Provide end-user support and advanced troubleshooting for communication tools.
- Address and resolve escalated help desk tickets related to unified communication systems.
