I am assisting a branch of a leading Luxury Goods Company who is in the search for a New IAM Director (Microsoft) to lead their IAM efforts across the branch.
They are looking for a visionary candidate to design and implement an innovative IAM program, driving the vision and strategy from the ground up, and ensuring compliance with security policies. Responsabilities:
- Manage and mentor a team of IAM professionals, fostering a collaborative and high-performance environment.
- Encourage professional development and set clear goals and expectations for team members.
- Ensure the team has the necessary tools, resources, and training to perform their roles effectively.
- Coordinate with HR to recruit and retain top IAM talent.
- Manage team workloads and project assignments to ensure timely and high-quality delivery of IAM solutions.
- Develop and oversee our IAM strategy, focusing on Microsoft Entra Suite, SAP, and other Microsoft Cloud services, ensuring alignment with business goals and industry best practices.
- To design and build the IAM program from the ground up. The ideal candidate will have the vision and expertise to create a robust and scalable IAM infrastructure.
- Oversee the lifecycle management of user identities, including provisioning, de-provisioning, and access reviews.
- Oversee the design and enforce access control policies and procedures to protect sensitive information and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
- Work closely with IT, Product, and business teams to integrate IAM solutions into existing and new systems.
- Lead regular audits and assessments of IAM processes to identify and mitigate risks.
- Lead in the development of training for staff on IAM policies, procedures, and best practices.
- Develop and maintain IAM documentation, including policies, standards, and guidelines.
- Lead IAM projects and initiatives, ensuring timely and successful delivery.
- Engage with external stakeholders, including vendors and partners, to ensure our IAM posture is robust and aligned with industry standards.
Skills
- Relevant combination of education, professional training, or work experience.
- Microsoft IAM platforms and processes required. While we aim to leverage Entra, deep knowledge of various IAM capabilities is essential to navigate and potentially integrate additional platforms as needed.
- Experience with SAP, Workday, customer identity (CIAM), and identity management operations.
- Deep understanding of Microsoft IAM principles, including authentication, authorization, and access control - with a strong focus on automation
- Strong strategic thinking skills, with the ability to develop and execute long-term IAM plans.
- Experience in advising leadership on IAM risks, strategies, and investments.
- Proven ability to lead large-scale IAM initiatives and projects, ensuring they align with the company's strategic goals.
- Exceptional communication skills, capable of presenting complex technical information clearly to both technical and non-technical audiences.
- Strong interpersonal skills, adept at building relationships and influencing stakeholders at all levels of the organization.
- Extensive experience in collaborating with cross-functional teams, including IT, legal, compliance, and business units and lead teams towards a shared vision of IAM excellence.
- Naturally inclined to explore new technologies and push the boundaries of what is possible in IAM.
- Thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing IAM landscape, navigating and leading with confidence.
- Stay up to date with the latest IAM trends, technologies, and best practices, particularly within the Microsoft Cloud and SAP ecosystems
