A global policy think within the global defense space is currently in the search for an Information Security Engineer, DevSecOps to join their Information Security Architecture and Engineering team. This position will focus on improving cyber deterrence capabilities through zero-trust architecture, using automation to better cloud security structure, orchestration of workflows, and assisting in vulnerability analysis and threat hunting. Other key responsibilities include:
- Protecting cloud services via automated orchestration routines
- Diagnosing and troubleshooting cyber related network and system performance deficiencies
- Designing and developing solutions to integrate systems across their network
- Deploying emerging and hybrid cloud security services
- Managing cyber infrastructure services and ensuring sound security postures and practices
Key Qualifications:
- Ability to obtain a DoD Secret clearance and/or DHS Fitness designation
- 5 years of experience in engineering and cyber deterrence preferred
- 3 years of software engineering with languages such as Python or JavaScript preferred
- 3 years of experience with one or more: AWS, Azure, or GCP
