Role: Lead FedRAMP Security Engineer
Location: Remote/Hybrid
Salary: $140,000 - $180,000
A leading Semi Conductor is currently looking for an experinced FedRAMP Security Engineer.
As a Lead FedRAMP Security Engineer, you will play a critical role in ensuring the security and compliance of their systems and services. Your expertise will be essential in navigating the complex landscape of federal regulations and standards. Here are the key responsibilities and qualifications for this role:
Duties & Responsibilities of the Lead FedRamp Security Engineer:
FedRAMP Expertise: Provide expertise related to the Federal Risk and Authorization Management Program (FedRAMP), including understanding its requirements, guidelines, and best practices.
Compliance Leadership: Stay abreast of federal security regulations such as the Federal Information Security Management Act (FISMA), Office of Management and Budget (OMB)/Department of Homeland Security (DHS) requirements, and National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) Special Publications and Standards.
Cross-Functional Coordination: Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and address security vulnerabilities in network infrastructure and data access management.
Assessment and Reporting: Lead the development of assessment reports for management review, advising leadership on remediation options and associated costs and benefits.
Third-Party Audits: Assist with third-party security audits and ensure compliance with relevant standards.
Identity Management: Administer and support Identity Manager products (preferably SailPoint).
Cyber Product Development: Contribute to the planning, design, development, and testing of Cyber Products, with a strong focus on security.
Cutting-Edge Storage Systems: Work closely with product management and engineering teams to identify and address potential security concerns related to cutting-edge storage system products.
Qualifications of the Lead FedRamp Security Engineer:
Education: A relevant degree such as Bachelor's or University Degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Security, or related fields.
Certifications: Preferred certifications include CISSP, CISM, CISA, IAT, III, IAM, GSLC, CASP, ITIL, and CEH.
