They are seeking a Manager, Security Engineering to play a crucial role in safeguarding their platform and ensuring the privacy and security of users' data. Reporting to the Infrastructure Director of Engineering, you will lead and manage a team of security engineers while driving the overall roadmap of security for the organization. This includes implementing security strategies that enhance the security posture and ensure compliance with industry standards.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and develop a team of security engineers, fostering a culture of collaboration, mentorship, and continuous learning.
- Identify, implement, and integrate foundational security tools and technologies to enhance corporate, infrastructure, and application security, in collaboration with internal teams.
- Develop and maintain security strategies, policies, KPIs, OKRs, roadmaps, and budget, working with internal teams to advocate for security and align on planning.
- Drive compliance with CIS, SOC2, and GDPR standards by leading security audits, assessments, and process improvements in partnership with internal teams.
- Lead incident response efforts, including investigation, containment, and resolution, while maintaining and improving the incident response plan.
Qualifications:
- Experience building and leading high-performing security teams.
- Proven track record of implementing foundational security measures and driving organization-wide security improvements.
- Passionate about protecting data, influencing security culture, and delivering measurable results in alignment with best practices and compliance standards.
Location: Hybrid in Philadelphia - 2-3 days onsite.
