The Opportunity:
A high-impact role in a fast-paced energy trading environment, supporting the risk management function through advanced analytics and technology. As a Business Analyst specializing in the Beacon platform, you'll sit at the intersection of business and tech-driving automation, enhancing reporting capabilities, and shaping smarter risk processes.
Your Responsibilities:
Analyze and document business requirements and workflows related to the Beacon platform.
Design and implement scalable solutions that streamline operations and support strategic objectives.
Build and maintain data models, reports, and dashboards to support risk decision-making.
Use Python to automate workflows and analyze large datasets for actionable insights.
Collaborate closely with risk managers, traders, and IT teams to translate business needs into robust technical solutions.
Support implementation and ongoing maintenance of critical IT systems and applications.
What You Bring:
A degree in business, computer science, or a related field.
Several years of experience in a similar role-either as a technical analyst or software engineer with exposure to trading or risk systems.
Strong hands-on knowledge of the Beacon platform, ideally in a risk management context.
Proficiency in Python for automation and data analysis.
Solid understanding of databases, data modeling, and large-scale data processing.
Experience with BI tools such as Tableau or Power BI.
Familiarity with SDLC standards and agile working methods.
Analytical mindset, high level of initiative, and strong communication and presentation skills.
