Vice President, Information Security
We are seeking a strategic and experienced leader to serve as Vice President of Information Security. This role is responsible for defining and executing the company's information security, risk management, and compliance strategies. Reporting to senior technology leadership, this position works cross-functionally with legal, audit, and operations teams to ensure organizational alignment and regulatory compliance.
Key Responsibilities:
Lead the development and execution of the enterprise security strategy, ensuring alignment with business goals.
Oversee IT governance, compliance, and risk management programs, including regulatory frameworks such as ISO, PCI DSS, NIST, and others.
Establish and maintain security policies, procedures, and incident response plans.
Direct internal audits, third-party risk assessments, and business continuity initiatives.
Communicate risk posture and compliance metrics to executive leadership and relevant stakeholders.
Ensure cloud, platform, and data environments meet all security and privacy requirements.
Lead and develop a high-performing information security team.
Stay ahead of evolving threats and regulatory changes, adjusting security programs accordingly.
Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in a related field or equivalent experience.
15+ years in information security, risk, or compliance, with 4+ years in a leadership role.
Relevant certifications such as CISSP or SSCP preferred.
Experience with cloud-based architectures and security in highly regulated industries.
Strong communication, leadership, and cross-functional collaboration skills.
Demonstrated success in managing security strategies, audits, and compliance programs.
