We've partnered with a pharmaceutical company that supplies cost-effective medicines and health care services. They're looking to bring on a Cloud Security Engineering Manager.
The Cloud Security Engineering Manager will lead a team of cloud engineers responsible for designing, implementing, and maintaining the organization's cloud infrastructure. They will play a critical role in ensuring the scalability, reliability, and security of the company's cloud-based systems.
This position will be hybrid located in NYC.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of cloud engineers, providing guidance, mentorship, and performance feedback.
- Develop and execute the organization's cloud strategy, including selecting cloud service providers, optimizing cloud usage, and ensuring cost-efficiency.
- Design, deploy, and maintain cloud infrastructure, ensuring it meets performance, availability, and security requirements.
- Implement and manage security measures to protect cloud-based assets and data, including identity and access management, encryption, and compliance with industry standards.
- Monitor and optimize cloud costs to ensure efficient resource utilization.
- Develop and maintain disaster recovery plans and procedures for cloud-based systems.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, such as software development and IT operations, to ensure seamless integration with cloud services.
- Maintain documentation of cloud architecture, processes, and best practices.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a relevant work experience.
- Several years of experience in cloud engineering and infrastructure management.
- Strong knowledge of cloud platforms (e.g., AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) and related technologies.
- Leadership and team management skills.
- Relevant certifications (e.g., AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect).
