Job Overview
They are seeking a Director of Marketing to lead the marketing strategy across two key audiences: merchants and the crypto ecosystem. This role is a mix of strategic and hands-on work, focused on both product and brand marketing with the goal of driving growth, increasing engagement, and enhancing market awareness. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in both B2B and B2C marketing, particularly in fintech, payments, or crypto-related industries.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead the strategy for marketing to both merchant executives and the crypto community, driving engagement and growth
- Manage and mentor a small team, with plans for expansion
- Collaborate with Product, Sales, and Engineering to align marketing with product launches and customer needs
- Develop and execute campaigns, including managing event strategies to boost brand presence
- Position the company as a thought leader in digital payments and crypto through engaging content
- Use data and analytics to optimize marketing efforts and ensure strong ROI
Qualifications
- 5-7 years in product marketing, ideally in fintech, payments, or crypto, with Senior Manager or Director-level experience
- Proven success in marketing to both B2B and B2C audiences, with expertise in merchant and crypto strategies
- Strategic mindset with hands-on campaign execution and team management experience
- Strong track record in driving customer engagement and acquisition through data-driven marketing
- Experience in leading and mentoring teams
