Position Overview
We are seeking a highly motivated Senior Account Executive to drive sales growth within the mid-market in the UK. The ideal candidate will have experience selling cybersecurity and network security solutions.
This role is a great opportunity for a driven sales professional who thrives in a fast-paced environment and is passionate about helping businesses strengthen their cybersecurity and web performance. Candidates must be based in the UK and have the ability to engage with prospects through virtual and in-person meetings.
Key Responsibilities
Hunt & Close New Business: Identify, qualify, and close new sales opportunities within the UK Mid-Market.
Manage the Sales Cycle: Own the full sales process from prospecting to negotiation and closing.
Leverage Company Solutions: Effectively position our client's security and performance solutions, including DDoS protection, Zero Trust, WAF, and CDN
Build Relationships: Develop strong relationships with key decision-makers, including IT Directors, CISOs, and business executives.
Collaborate with Internal Teams: Work closely with marketing, sales engineering, and customer success teams to ensure customer satisfaction and retention.
Achieve Sales Targets: Meet and exceed monthly and quarterly revenue goals.
Stay Ahead of Cybersecurity Trends: Maintain a strong understanding of industry trends, competitor offerings, and our client's value proposition.
Qualifications & Requirements
Experience: 3+ years of experience in cybersecurity or network security sales, preferably with the company's solutions.
Technical Knowledge: Understanding of the company's security and performance offerings, including DDoS protection, Zero Trust, WAF, CDN, and more.
Sales Skills: Strong prospecting, negotiation, and closing skills.
Industry Knowledge: Familiarity with cybersecurity challenges faced in the UK.
Location: Must be based in the UK.
Travel: Willingness to travel occasionally for client meetings, conferences, and company events.
